The HR Generalist is an accomplished HR professional who will provide HR consultant services to our clients. The HR Generalist delivers customized HR solutions to multiple clients regarding compliance, policies/procedures, records management, onboarding/offboarding, performance management, employee relations, recruiting and training. The HRG fully integrates with client accounts through on-site visits to identify client goals and maintain strong business relationships while ensuring the best service.

Essential Duties:

  • Maintain a high level of HR knowledge and deliver HR solutions to assigned client
  • Design proactive approach to support clients as a trusted HR
  • Create and maintain multiple handbooks across all clients and
  • Assist clients with day-to-day operational tasks-staying compliant, create policy and follow
  • Provide higher-level strategic guidance-performance management, employee development, manager coaching.
  • Respond quickly and thoroughly to client emails and
  • Make on-site visits to clients to provide HR services such as conduct audits, investigations, witness
  • Collaborate with HR Director on strategies and delivery of the HR
  • Utilize HRIS features to streamline paperless client
  • Conduct seminars and coordinate manager and employee training
  • Remain current on employment law, best practices and trends in HR, and guide clients
  • Provide feedback to HR Director and Sales team to improve sales

Education / Training / Certifications / Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of progressive HR industry related
  • Comprehensive Generalist background that demonstrates broad HR
  • Superior communication, interpersonal, presentation and collaborative
  • Ability to establish and build effective working relationships with clients. Anticipate needs, take
  • Consultation skills: Problem Solving, coaching, people and project
  • Strong time management
  • BS/BA degree in HR or related
  • PHR /SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP
  • HRIS, ATS, CRM or other software experience
  • HR Services Consultant experience or service based product delivery industry is a
  • Ability to work daily 8:00-5:00 in Glen Rock, NJ and travel locally to client sites and occasionally for seminars/conference
